Name: Andre Laurent Jean Geraux... or known as, Bebe.

Personality: Bebe is, to put in the simplest of terms, a good person. He is a kind, honest, and cheerful boy. When the protagonist first meets Bebe, he seems like your average weaboo. He loves japanese culture and he's "fresh off the boat". He shows his kindness even before his social link begins, as he gives Bunikichi (the Hierophant S. link) his wallet back when he claimed to have lost it. A little bit eccentric and very trustworthy (as seen from his guilble personality when he asks the protagonists how to say certain words in Japanese), Bebe doesn't seem to have a complex personality. However, as the protagonist progresses through his social link by joining the fashion club, he learns about Bebe's backstory and the reason he came to Japan. It turns out that Bebe's aunt let him go to Japan to study, but after her death, he is conflicted by his uncle's whim to return to France.
With a little help from the protagonist, we see that Bebe is a determined character when he decides to convince his uncle to let him stay in Japan, rather then obeying him. And in the midst of all this, he still remains as optimistic as ever. He is struck with the idea to make a kimono in order to show his uncle just how beautiful Japan is, and pulls through until the end (signifying the end of his social link).
Overall, Bebe is the kind of guy who holds true to his words and despite his unusual behaviour (including his random acts of putting Japanese words into his sentences), he is someone you can easily get along with. Although he leaves the protagonist to confront his uncle when his social link is maxed, he promises to return to Japan and gives you a hand crafted money pouch, to show his gratitude.
Strengths/Weaknesses:
Strengths
- Bebe is a gifted tailor, since he is in the fashion club. So, he can fix his own clothes!
- He's honest, kind and optimistic to all, especially towards the protagonist.
- He respects others. Hence, the '-sama'
- He's very hard-working, as seen from when he worked on the kimono dilligently.
- He cherishes his friends! And he's full of things to say (you won't get bored of him).
Weaknesses
- You...can't understand him sometimes. Well, he throws Japanese words to his sentences often. That, and he has a french accent.
- A bit awkward because of his eccentric personality (not so much him feeling awkward but the recipient)
- He's pretty gullible. That's not always a good thing.

[The Snubbull grunts]
I do not understand. Hm, well I will give one, okay? Let's zee...
[He looks around, and tries to think of one and BAM! He hatches an idea!]
I 'ave it! I will call you Kawaii! Okay, Kawaii-chan? My name eez Bebe! Can you be my tomodachi? My friend?
[The Snubbull grunts and nods]
Yay! I am ureshii! I am so 'appy! Arigatou, Kawaii-chan!
[Snubbull feels a faint bond with Bebe, he feels he has gotten closer with him!]
Third Person Sample:
As the early morning turned into mid day, Bebe was facing his Snubbull with determination in his eyes. "Kawaii-chan, Onegai! Please, put zis on! It would look so cute on you, Kawaii-chan!" Bebe showed the frilly red dress to Subbull, trying to convince him how pretty the dress would look on him.
"Kawaii-chan, I made zis out of love for you! It would make me 'appy to see you wear it!" Snubbull grunted and turned away, not wanting to try on the dress since it looked uncomfortable and too red for his taste. "Okay... I'm sure you will want to try it on later. So I will keep it in my bag." Bebe neatly folded the red dress tucked it into his bag and stood up from his kneeling position. The Snubbull noticed Bebe packing and caught up to him, then the two continued their journey.
Bebe had a dissapointed expression, he still remembered their little disagreement. He didn't want to force Snubbull, he just thought it would look good on him. Snubbull saw Bebe's dissappointed expression and grunted. Bebe whipped his head to Snubbull and looked at him with hopefulness in his eyes "Nani? What? You want to try on ze dress!? Honto! Really!? Yay! You will love it! Trust me!" Bebe went on the side of the road and pulled out the dress. He hummed and neatened the dress to eliminate any wrinkles. Snubbull looked at the dress and tried it on, with Bebe's help of course.
Bebe looked at the frilly dressed pokemon "You look so Kawaii, Kawaii-chan! So cute! I am so proud of zis work! It might be my best one yet! It reminds me of ze kimono I made!" Snubbull looked at him in curiousity. "Ze kimono was made for my uncle, so I could convince 'im to let me go back to Nihon, demo, but I did not do it alone. I had made a special friend, tomodachi, in Nihon... But, I don't know if zey are here..." he pouted for a moment, then his face lit up. "Zat eez it! Kawaii-chan! Maybe my tomodachi ez 'ere! Let us see! We will look for 'im! Right? Kawaii-chan!"
Bebe now had the sudden determination to look for his friend. "Off we go, Kawaii-chan!" the two got up from their resting spot and made their departure.
