[Hao is just outside of the town, watching the various strange looking animals pop up scurry about the grass, his charmander beside him, its tail waving ever so slightly.
Vaguely, he wonders just how well this tiny salamander can help him waltz through the grass. He really isn't aware of the device recording, so he speaks. You're rather small

Ah, I didn't realize this was on. You've been here longer?

Yeah. The first group of arrived about a week or so ago.

The dowser almost didn't notice the other boy. He was too busy watching the rustling grass, wondering what kind of world this was when grass held such dangers and people used pets as weapons.
He almost didn't notice him.
You're rather small.
His head snapped up, alarm spreading across his face. So small. So small. He stops, lifting his gaze from the path and to the person not more than twenty feet ahead.
Lyserg rarely truly let instinct control him. He rarely abandoned completely rational thought for a single, unprepared attack. However, by the time he realized what he was doing it was too late to stop - and the scrawny little Englishman found himself swinging a fist toward the younger, yet so much older, shaman boy.]

Thankfully for him, however, he had noticed, and Hao moved quickly out of the way. Not with as much grace as he normally would have had, but he wasn't hit, and that was always a bonus.
He didn't trip, didn't fall, and most certainly didn't attempt to strike back. He wasn't used to being unable to hear another persons thoughts.]
Diethal, how nice of you to join me.

Amazingly enough, Lyserg smiled.
He was right. Hao was just another person now.... just another normal, breakable person.]
I was just passing through. [His voice was almost, almost chipper - ignoring the razor sharp edge to it.]

[He's on guard, even at the smile and chipper voice. His body language doesn't say it at all, however. He's good at masking whatever he wants, shaman powers or not. And he'll still never lose that cocky, condescending tone.
He's still better then you, Lyserg. And he knows it. Even without his powers to help him a long.
Hao's Charmander, however, doesn't take lightly to Lyserg attempting to punch his trainer, and theres a low growl of 'Mander...' coming from it.
Not to mention it's actually trying to force the dowser away.]

But he knows he already spoke.]
Why would someone want to bring you here.

[Charmander doesn't like that tone you've taken with its trainer, Ren, and there is now a rather angry lizard face on the screen. What's the point in hiding the fact he was here? They'd just find out eventually. So he kept his end on video.]

[Yeah? Ren isn't batting an eye at the angry little lizard, the Pidgey on his shoulder having flipped the video on while pecking at the screen. Elekid could be seen in the background, charging electricity between the prongs on his head, regarding his trainer with a 'hurry up with your damn phone call I'm bored' expression.
The Pidgey pecked again at the screen when Charmander looked so sour, chirping with mild irritation. What's that look for?]

[Charmander is totally growling and glaring at you, Ren. Hao eyes the Elekid curiously, before chuckling.]
The yellow thing has your personality.
