After this challenge we are going to take an extended break. It's going to be Summer and lot's of us will be off on vacations. I will be heading to Florida for a little over a week and probably will not be online at all as I am going to enjoy my favorite beach

Out of all the thousands of books we've seen, you expect us to pick ONE favorite? Couldn't we pick three favorites, instead, since we can make three icons?
And do they have to be real art, as in paintings, or can they be/include photographs or other decorations (like on old books)?

But of course you can pick three different covers. I guess I need to make that more clear. Hm.

As long as it's on a book cover anything is fair game. Find a book you like at home, scan the cover and make an icon out of it.

As the instructions say, you may use any brushes, text, textures, gradients, techniques you would like.

Well, you said there are no restrictions for book covers, but I just want to be absolutely sure it would include photography.

As long as it's on the cover of a book you can make an icon with it. So yes. :)
