Which country is this village in? That information would be of greater assistance.

That is possible, but it would bring up the issue of how it was done, and by whom.

To answer your question, Johto, but as the rest of us have never heard of the country, there is a good chance the same will be true for you.

It would not be difficult for any shinobi to place a genjutsu over a civilian.

If there was evidence of shinobi in this world, that theory would be more likely.

No one knows. I am currently investigating but I have found little in the way of clues.

None yet, but I believe it's only a matter of time before the culprit does something to give us some clue. Patterns have already formed. For example, new arrives begin showing up for a day or two starting today every week.

Any weapons you may have had on you are almost certainly gone.

The same with any...powers or abilities. Whether they are sealed or simply gone I do not know and it may be on a case by case basis.

It is impossible to tell unless you do meet someone from your world, but people have been kidnapped from different times. I know someone who was taken from several months before myself, but we have no memory of him being missing.

I noticed the lack of any weapons when I woke up.

This world has the ability to limit our abilities as well? And there is no way in regaining what was lost?

[That isn't something Itachi ever wanted to hear. His vision is terrible and now he can't rely on the sharingan to assist his sight. And while he is skilled in hand to hand, his specialty is genjutsu.]

If there is a way, no one has reported finding it yet. The nature of some of the abilities I have heard of being removed or sealed is worrying, to say the least.
