Honestly, being a teenager has its ups and downs. Sure, I have the ability yo plan strategies and schemes to negate, avoid, and overall get myself into trouble. (i know negate and avoid are antonymns of get into trouble, screw off.) Sure I can meet some girl at school, get to know her, and then my thoughts are concentrated on her for a long time. (

All of this insightful for me. I appreciate you being open about it, and I also respect your right to be alone and go on hikes. You are a good guy, and funny...very funny to boot. Yeah, teenagers can be the biggest jackasses on the planet - and some parents (myself included) can be the most annoying, unlistening dolts on same said planet. The key is meeting in the middle. I think we do that....well...most days, anyway! ;-)
