One of my mom's co-workers is from Across the Pond, and we went to her huge house tonight to eat food and drink and watch fireworks. She and a bunch of relatives were talking in funny accents and she said "Happy good riddance day!" when we pulled up. I thought that was really funny... 4th of July from the other perspective.
