gentlemans guide was a disappointment for me. SUPER IMPRESSED with the one dude playing all that, i literally didn't realize until peter pointed it out during intermission. i had so much trouble paying attention. we were doing a double header with something rotten! and i was concerned i just wouldn't be able to pay attention durinf that either, but it was mostly good. (i've been having trouble keeping my attention on track at theater lately). if i'd seen in the other order, it would have been very rough.

Haven't seen Gentleman's Guide, but I have had the experience of being in a Broadway audience of people enjoying the hell out of a show that was appalling me and it's a deeply alienating one.

My theory is that they've paid so much for these tickets, it must be good. Either that or I really am an alien.
