Secondly: adjusting white balance is the best thing about digital cameras.

Yeah, it was still set from when we were at the restaurant when i picked it up after we got home. Needless to say whatever lights they had there were NOT the same as our fluorescent bulb we had on. Also, it was very dark, and they looked better than what I can do with a direct flash. I think it was 1/60s f/1.8 at 1600 ISO, so I was pushing just to get a decent exposure. I'll go tinker with them.
