I had a meeting this morning with professional-types. We discussed things like budgets, agendas and what-not. One of my meeting-mates asked if I had a business card with me. My response was naturally to giggle awkwardly and state, rather bemusedly, that I don't have any business cards (business cards? business cards? we don't need no stinkin' ( Read more... )

people at the gym are always asking me about my husband. "I really want to meet your husband, because he would have to be a real character."

hehehehehehe...NO!

unless I missed a memo, 25 is far too young to be dealing with husband/children questions.

but he really would have to be a real character.

I don't think 25 is necessarily too young for everyone. And I separate "dealing with a husband" from "dealing with children" because I think you really can have one without the other. And I will not have children until I can think of having a child in terms other than something to be dealt with. :) It's pretty funny--i doubt that dudes ask other dudes if they have kids.

I was talking to a chick at the gym that couldn't believe I wasn't married. She said that when she was 24 she decided that she was ready to get married. I couldn't help wondering if she was ready to marry her husband or she was just ready to get married. I don't ever want to get married because I figure now is as good a time as any. I am terrible at picking guys to date let alone marry. That scares the bejesus out of me.

Kids though? Yes, eventually. But when "eventually" is, I don't know.

I was like, why the hell does she love Bogart ... then it clicked.

I'm a little slow today. I spent about 8 hours in a car yesterday driving to Columbia and back.
