Yup. Pouty/crying megan came up in conversation with the parents this weekend. "Hey, remember that one time megan pitched a fit here?" Or "Hey, there's the hotel where we stayed when Megan pitched a fit that one time." Thanks, guys.
Also, my father asked me if i was going to have children. When I said "no" he said "well, when you do, feel free to name the first one Timothy [after him]." I was also asked "what's next with your career?", "so, have you given up on graduate school?", "do you think you're getting married some day?", and at least one other difficult-to-answer question.
Oh, and I may have inadvertently called my mom an Asshat. Dad was describing his co-workers who firmly stand against the use and availability of emergency contraception. So I called them asshats, at which point my Catholic mother turned around and glared at me. um. oops. i mean, except for you, mother. I then described for my parents exactly what emergency contraception is and what it does.
my parents stop asking me those questions because when they do I pitch a fit. Not much changes from childhood to adulthood actually.
For example, my parents were super excited for me this week, but knew better than to push too hard in the "keep a steady job that pays a lot" direction because they know I'm going to move next year no matter what. no need to add stress to a situation by insisting that I do something I am not going to do.
oh, just my payless faux-athletic shoes-dealies with the velcro strap. And their not even ruined, but I did have to sport heels for the rest of the weekend due to the overwhelming wetness.

all 3 megans have spectacular glasses with no lenses.
I wish I could put baby pictures up, but most of mine tend to be butt-nekkid with snow boots and a sombrero.
