1. If I move to California, there will likely be friends (of varying degrees) whom I'll never see again. While this isn't a deterrent [because most of us will have to move at some point], it is a striking thought. That's how it works

God so many of my college friends are so spread out now it's sad. Pete's in Cali. Some are up North, some still in S.C./Ga., one in Texas.

Don't you wish it could be like the movies and all your friends moved to the same city and stayed there :)

Oddly enough--I kind of like that everyone spreads out. It makes staying in touch difficult, but I think we'd be worse off if we all stayed in the same place. We must spread our wings and fly, or something like that. ;)
