I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that days where I walk to work are better than most days I don't walk to work. This is partly due to the fact that I'm not still dead asleep when I arrive. I walked to the Bulldog Cafe for lunch (thanks--quasi-chick-fil-a) in my work shoes and with a long-sleeved shirt on. Now I'm kind of smelly and probably a little sweaty-smelling. Workdays are much better when they have a birthday party for a co-worker. Usually I'm clueless as to what is going on in the general office environment as far as birthdays go, so it's pretty fantastic to get a phone call saying "It's ____'s Birthday--we have refreshments, c'mon over!"
