la luna bonita...jessecaApril 21 2004, 00:38:47 UTC
Yes, the moon is a lovely rock, and while we're out there observing the beauty of our galaxy, don't forget to scope the still-visible planet of Mars, which has been visible out my front door for a glorious 6 mos. It's roughly south, southwest of Polaris--or is it NNE? Oh, wherever it is, it's the giant red star-lookin' thing. Neato. Has anyone else heard that they think that Pluto may not even be a planet, it just may be a big asteroid on the outer fringe of the milky way's astral belt that got caught in orbbit around our sun
