Travelling in Vayuvya (North West) Karnataka

According to live journal, I have not posted for 64 weeks :-)

Couple of weeks back, we travelled to North west Karnataka ( which direction according to Vaastu, the Indian architectural science, is dominated by Vayu or (the)wind (God). thats true ... hampi is really a beautiful place ... btw did u see the sculpture of monkey with baby in 6 forms on the vijaya vittala temple ... enjoyed every moment of being there

Wonderful post, usha123. I'll remember Hampi as one of the 1000 places for me to visit...and the Indian Tourism Dept needs to give you a commission!
I hope to vist India someday--the only place I had been to is Calcutta in August--humidity, monsoon rains, flash floods, horrendous traffic and all!

I love Hampi- the Hampi that exists on either side of the River. Two different worlds, yet so beautiful and fascinating :)

Hampi is a beautiful and fascinating tourist place of India. The pix are also very good. India has some of the best tourist destinations in the world. There are many travel agencies and airlines which are offering flights to India in very reasonable rates in the month of Jan 2010. Book your flights in advance to avoid any type of inconvenience and also you will be able to get low priced airfare to India.
