I got my card last July from MediCann. I can't remember the fee, but they will provide a discount to those who have Medicare, MediCal, etc.

I checked about the fee to renew next month and it's $75, which isn't too bad.

The county board meets in the coming week on the matter of MMJ Patient ID cards. I suppose this will be when they arrive at the price structure of the county-issued cards.
