I've always thought small joys should be commemorated.
Today I'm grateful that my sister who lived in Haiti for more than a decade has relocated to the DRC along with my youngest nephew, and that his older brother's in DC going to college.
Maybe not such a small joy, in light of recent news.

LOL. It seems weird to be grateful that anyone is there, instead of somewhere else, for sure. Strange world we live in, sometimes!
