Hurry up and wait...!

So, I saw the neurologist last Wednesday. The appointment was scheduled specifically to take care of a few things involved with setting up Novantrone treatments. We yakkety-blah'd a bit with the neuro, and he sent us out front so his assistant could contact the docs who'd be giving the infusions and set up an appointment with them, then a follow-up ( Read more... )

Oh, how maddening that must be!! Hopefully it'll be worth the wait though, and will be nothing but beneficial for you....

I like to roll with my old pal, The Uni, in most things as well.

A friend of mine and I once discussed the two types of patience: there's the kind you exercise while gaining the trust of a feral stray, for example -- I've got that in spades.

Then there's the kind you exercise while waiting for the bus, which is running late. Eh -- me, not so much. I don't do great with looooong, slow-moving lines either!

Hopefully the long, slow Novantrone line will start edging forward soon. I tend to get up to shit while I'm waiting impatiently, LOL! :D

First of all, I love you for this:
"I tend to get up to shit while I'm waiting impatiently, LOL! :D"

Second of all, I love you for a lot of other things too. I remember doing this dance with Tysabri, after being off all meds for 7 months just WAITING for the next relapse to happen (which it did about a month or so after my first couple of Tysabri infusions and I wanted to scream because I felt like if they had gotten on the ball sooner... blah blah).

I will keep sending up positive vibes for you that they will get their shit in gear.

Until then, if you get up to shit while you're waiting, share that too because I'm sure it'll be entertaining!

D'oh -- I'm too damn tired to get up to anything really interesting! I think I"m at the "prank phone calls" stage, in terms of my ability to act on my bad intentions, hee hee -- Is Mr. Takeshita there? :D
