You have to be a member to post, if that's what you're asking. I'm freakishly new to LJ and so I'm just kind of stumbling around making this up as I go. ::grins::
LJ is a challenge! What I was asking was if the posts would be invisible to anyone who is not a member of the community. I liked knowing that any random person who stumbled across the group from anywhere on the internet couldn't see what we were all talking about. I think to change the privacy setting of the group, you'd have to go into account settings and set the Default Entry Security to Friends (I think.) If you wanted to, and/or if you thought the group would prefer it. This is for (somewhat shaky) informational purposes only.
In the settings, all members can post once they've joined. Does it make a difference if I switch it to invite only? And if I do, what happens to everyone who has already joined?
Clearly I should've done more research before taking on this comm. LOL! Oh, well. We'll muddle though.
I had a great time at WriSo (well, a great and miserable time) and I would totally love to join this! (Also, if you need people to take turns to post encouragement/check in posts, I'm also up for that :))
