Five places Death thinks are great places to read a book.
Five things Inara would ask Mal if she knew he had to tell the truth! (And if you feel like going the extra mile, five things she'd ask anyone at camp/in her canon if she knew they had to tell the truth)

hmmmm.
The execution of Marie Antoinette, as evidenced by the fact that she named her doll (which she also beheaded) Marie.
The beheading of Mary Queen of Scots, because it took multiple blows -- I believe the back of the skull split open from the first blow -- and when the executioner lifted up the head at the end, it turned out her hair was a wig and her head fell out of it. (I'm doing this from memory. Feel free to goggle.)
The witch burnings in Europe, because those are always fun.
The Salem Witch Trial executions, although she thinks it's rather annoying that they only hung or pressed them. A few disembowelings, she thinks, would have perked things right up. They knew how to do it better in the old country.
Thought I'd finally get around to it. Well, half of it.

The first time Inara Serra thought about kissing Malcolm Reynolds was approximately five seconds after they met. It wasn't because he was particularly handsome or compelling; it was simply a reflex, something she wondered about most men she met, and some of the women. "What would this person be like if I kissed him?"
Coarse, she decided. Unschooled. Certainly nothing worth her time.
Nevertheless, a small spark of intrigue lingered as she went back to the Temple she was staying at. Maybe it was the yearning for respectability. Maybe it was the fact he still named himself an Independent. Heaven knew it certainly wasn't because he'd called her a whore. She sat down at her console and stared at the blank screen for a moment or two.
Knowledge is power.Reaching out to the screen, she called up the data on one Reynolds, Malcolm, out of Shadow
