Part One Once upon a time in Texas, there were three brothers like no other...
Part Two
The dinner was silent was the four men ate.
John had raised the two boys by himself after his wife had died in a house fire in Kansas. Taking the insurance settlement he had bought a plot of land in Texas and raised them with about half a dozen farm hands during the fall. He had met Ellen when he got here and they had hit it off just right. She had recently lost her own husband so they shared each other's grief and then their bed. Chace had come from this, and had almost given John a new lease on life. When Ellen went ill and passed away, John had been as silent and stoic as possible. Raising the three boys he best he could, but Sam and Dean could tell..the man was hurting.
“You all kill someone out in the field?” John asked grabbing the bowl of mashed potatoes. Their house keeper Missouri always made sure there was a huge dinner cooked before she left for the day, knowing the Winchesters worked hard and ate harder. But the spread looked relatively untouched as the three boys all looked at their plates.
Sam looked up in confusion “No sir.” as Dean shook his head.
“He don't mean for real retard.” Dean grabbed for a roll, whatever inner turmoil he had been mulling over finally giving way for his appetite. “Just a long day is all.”
John nodded and then looked over at Chace “What about you?” he asked “How did you spend your vacation?”
Chace kept looking down at his chicken as he picked with it “Nothing” was all he said.
John's voice got a bit louder “Not really the answer to my question is it?” Chace looked up quickly as John asked in an obviously kinder voice “How did you spend your vacation?”
Chace shrugged “Chores...went over to Nathan and Lucas' house for awhile.” he went back to picking “Nothing big.”
John gave up and looked at his other two sons “And you two? I know you ain't just sitting around here all night.”
Dean shook his head “Ash is throwing something down by the lake.” he siad between bites “Gonna go and hang before it gets too late.” he swallowed some more “And that stump ain't coming out anytime soon. We need a cherry picker.”
John mumbled under his breath “Thought that WAS your specialty.”
Sam choked on his corn as Dean blushed slightly and looked up “Paw!”
John just raised a hand chucking “Find out how much it is in the morning. We'll figure it out.”
Dean nodded and went back to the meal “Gonna need it gone before too long.”
The table was silent and finally Chace blurted out “Can I go?”
Everyone looked up at him in surprise and Dean said “To find a cherry picker?”
Sam nudged him “To the lake jerk.”
“Shut it bitch.” Dean said hitting him back. He put down his fork and rubbed the back of his head, the way he did whenever he was trying to say something unkind. “See the thing...”
“No” John said with the sound of finality that only a father can muster. Chace looked at him with his mouth open, ready to protest and John shook his head “Don't want you hanging out with those boys.” he said taking a drink “You have all summer, hang out with your own friends.” he made a gesture towards Sam and Dean “Their friends are a bad influence.”
Chace saw the flash of anger in Dean's eyes as he stared at his dad. Sam just looked down back to his plate and ate some more. Chace wanted to argue, as did Dean, but they all knew better. When John made a decree, it was over. They ate the rest of the meal in silence, Chace being the first “Can I be excused?”
John made a waving sound as Dean said “You don't want your pie?” Chace threw his napkin down and stomped off, even in socks he could make a ruckus.
He could hear them talking under their breath at the table, he paused at the steps and crept back down to listen.
“...going to jump him dad!” Dean was saying “Damnit!”
“Just saying” John's voice said “I am not going to let you introduce him to...” he fumbled as if not knowing the right words and finally he exploded with “...I'm not letting you do it again Dean!”
“Who said I was gonna!” Dean shot back “God damnit dad!”
“Do not take the lord's name in vain!” he shot back and Chace could hear the wry smile in Dean's voice as he answered “Yeah cause THAT'S the thing I have to worry about.”
The sound of a fork being dropped on a plate and Dean said “Come on Sam, let's get.”
“You two have work tomorrow.” John called back as the front door slammed “Do not be out whoring all night and forget.”
The sound of Dean's truck as it peeled out could be heard all the way to where Chace stood. What was that all about? He wondered as he snuck upstairs for real.
Hours later he laid on his bed, listening to the radio as the cool Texas night moved over his bed. It was just hot enough to be in his boxers over the covers but just cool enough for him to keep his socks on. It was nearing 11 and they weren't home yet, as his eyes began to close he thought venomously they were the chosen ones Sam and Dean, they could do anything they wanted and get away with it.
Chace felt himself start to get sleepy as he began to think about Amanda Rogers. A callused hand moved over his think black boxer briefs as he stroked the outline of his cock thinking about her. He loved her lips and the way her eyes could pierce right through you. He rubbed harder as his eyes drifted off...the image of her in his head...
And then it was Dean's face leaning towards him. He could feel his hand on his stomach, his smell this morning as it filled his senses. Chace could feel his mouth slipping open as his brother's fingers moved past the band of his boxers...
The sound of Dean's truck pulling in the driveway woke him suddenly. His hand was gripped halfway around his cock, his eyes flew open as his face flushed hotly. Amanda. He was thinking about Amanda. He let go and jumped out of bed to look out his window. Sam was helping Dean pour of the cab of his truck, they both looked drunk as hell but Dean was barely walking.
Chace grabbed an old button up plaid shirt and ran downstairs to open the front door for them. Sam paused as he was fumbling with his keys in his hand, Dean hadn't even noticed Chace till he looked up and then stared at his brother's crotch. In a slurred voice he asked “Awww...that for me?”
Chace looked down and saw that he was still more than hard enough to be showing through the boxer briefs. He moved the long shirt as best he could while Sam sighed and hauled Dean over the threshold “Knock it off Dean.”
“Whaaa?” Dean asked as his boots dragged across the floor and towards the stairs “I;m just saying...if he is bringing presents...”
Chace closed the door and ran over to grab his brother's feet. Though he would love to see Dean get chewed out for walking his dad up this late, the resulting explosion would hit every single Winchester awake, not just him. Sam looked back to make sure Chace had his boots and they marched him upstairs. Dean started to say something loudly and both of them shushed him violently. In a mock whisper Dean said “You all aren't gonna take advantage of me cause I'm drunk now.”
He giggled at his own joke as Sam lead him into their room in the attic. The two of them had converted the upper crawl space into a huge bedroom when they were both in high school. Two beds separated the room, each side as unique and varied as the brother who shared it.
Dean's side was covered with three beer ad posters with a trio of Bud girls in daisy dukes, a poster of a Lynard Skynard tour and about half a million old copies of Sport's Illustrated. On the wall was a shelf with a variety of different bottles, all of them empty and personally drank by Dean Winchester. As they were about to spill him onto his unmade bed he pulled a schnapps bottle out of his coat and held it up “Sam?” was all he said.
Sam grabbed the bottle and then tossed him on the dirty bed. Chace watched as the taller man found an empty spot way up top and placed the bottle with the rest. Dean laid face down on his bed, the muffled sounds of snoring were already coming from under him. Sam sighed as he began to kneel down for his brother's boots. Chace knelt down with him “I got this one.” he said quietly.
Sam nodded and they both pulled the light tan leather off his feet. They both took a few steps back from the smell that emanated from Dean's socks. Both of them chuckled as Chace said “Does he keep dead animals in here or something?” he peeked into the boot.
“He was kinda pissed when he left.” Sam said grabbing the boot and placing them both at the end of the bed “He didn't really shower and change before we left.” His voice was flat and quiet, but there was an edge to it, a resentment that was hard to miss. Sam sat on the edge of his bed and tried to move his foot up to his lap, but he was just as uneasy as Dean had been. Chace moved over “I got it.” and grabbed his foot.
Sam watched for a while as Chace slowly pulled the boot off. The older boy actually sighed as it cleared his huge feet “Oh damn...” he said “I hate these fucking things.” he said falling back on his bed. Chace pulled the other off, noticing that Sam's feet didn't smell half as bad as Dean's. Chace put the boots at the edge of the bed gingerly and then stood up. Sam laid there on his back, hands over his face. Looking for the all the world like he was already asleep. Chace began to pad out of the room in his socks when Sam's voice said “He doesn't hate you.” Chace paused and looked back, Sam hadn't moved an inch, but he said again “Dean? He doesn't hate you. And he doesn't like me more.”
Chace felt his voice crack as he asked “Then what is it?”
Sam moved his hands and looked up at Chace, his eyes were very tired and he looked like he had been ready for bed hours ago. He said in that same weary voice “He's trying to protect you.” he let Chace pause on that for a second “That's all he ever does.” he said looking over to his snoring brother “Try to protect us both.”
“From what?” Chace asked, not getting what his brother was saying.
Then like he had said too much Sam sighed and unbuttoned his jeans “From everything Chace.” he slid his jeans down his long legs and kicked them across the room. His white boxers practically glowed in the dim room. He pulled himself up off his bed and moved over to Dean “You don't know the whole story. And odds are you never will.” he reached down and unbuttoned Dean's pants. As he pulled the button fly open he sighed and said to himself “Like it'd kill you to wear underwear you dirty bastard?” Sam stripped his brother of the skin tight denim, Chace tried not to marvel at the size of his brother's flaccid cock as Sam moved a blanket over him.
Chace stared for a long second. The sight of his brother's toned, tanned and muscled body was like staring into the sun. As he blinked he could still see it, flashing there like an afterimage. Realizing no one had talked he looked up at Sam who was standing there by Dean's bed, watching Chace. Chace met his eyes and then looked away, hoping the darkness would cover his blushing.
After a second Sam said “Childhood is a gift Chace.” the younger Winchester looked up at the words “Don't be so quick to give it away.”
In tight, clipped words Chace answered “I'm not a child Sam.” and with that he spun around and walked out of the attic. Leaving Sam wondering, was he or wasn't he?
Chace went back to his room and threw himself on the bed with a sigh. Fuck Dean, fuck Sam. He wasn't a child anymore. He shucked his boxer briefs off and looked down at the man sized cock that looked back at him as if in proof. He began to finish what he started before he was rudely interrupted. But instead of Amanda's face and lips smiling at him...all he saw was Dean.
He pulled his cock harder as he imagined Dean on his knees, looking up at him as he pumped his over sized cock over his older brother's face. Through grunts he said “Show you who's a child....”
The idea of cumming all over his tough brother's face just made it go that much faster, he gasped as he felt warm splash up his entire chest. His ass arched off the bed for a moment as he could almost feel Dean's mouth on his cock.
He fell almost instantly asleep, covered in the memory of his brother getting him off.
The next morning Sam and Dean were moving a bit slow. John made a show of banging his glass and plate around, each sound making Dean wince like it was someone punching him in the face. Sam simply sat there, his face down, hidden in his bangs as he moved his eggs around with his fork. After enough torture John said “You going into town about the cherry picker?”
Dean's eyes were closed as he nodded “Soon as my head explodes and puts me out of my misery.”
“No chance on that.” the elder Winchester said tossing his napkin down “Sam we got to get the back field presentable. Chace, drive your brother into town so I know at least he got that far.”
Dean looked up and smirked “You mind?”
Chace shook his head without making eye contact “Was probably just gonna hang around here and play with my toys anyways.”
Dean arched an eyebrow to ask what and Chace threw his fork on the plate “After all isn't that what children do?” he got up from the table “I'll be out in the barn waiting.”
Dean watched him walk out and then looked over to Sam “Yeah...that wasn't childlike at all.” and then his eyes narrowed “What did you say to him last night?”
“Nothing” Sam said still watching his plate. “You ready dad?”
John got up “Ready as I am gonna be.” Sam pushed his chair back “See ya.”
“Yeah” Dean said not understanding about half of what just happened. All he knew was his head hurt and he needed to go into town. Past that, no fricking idea.
Chace waited in the barn, making sure all the tools had been put away properly and that the horses had enough water. During the summer dad let the ranch hands go, knowing the three of them could get all the busy work that needed done. In a couple of months about two dozen guys would wander through the farm. All of them working the fields, collecting the crops and making sure all this was done already. Chace saw Impala nudging his nose at him and he smiled.
“What makes you think I have something for you?” he asked walking over to the small fridge his dad kept under the workbench, As he opened it the horse whinnied, it knew what was next. Chace pulled out a shiny red apple and waved it “You want this?” The horse stomped its feet a few times as Chace closed the door. He walked over, taking a bite of the apple “Maybe it's for me?” he said chewing the cold crisp taste. The horse leaned in to try to nip it but he pulled it away “What if it is my apple?” he asked about to take another bite.
“Then you should share.” Dean said leaning against the barn door. Chace jumped and looked at him, Impala taking the chance and grabbing the apple out of his hands. Dean laughed “See? You tease and you end up with nothing.”
Chace scowled “Maybe I should have told him he was too young for the apple.” he began walking past Dean but the older boy stopped him with an arm out. His palm was against Chace's hard chest as he asked “We have a problem?”
Chace looked up at him, his blue eyes flashing “Nope. Just me being a child is all.”
Dean moved his hand away “You got that right.” he mumbled and turned around towards the truck. “If you don't want to come you don't have to. I ain't that hungover.”
Chace stopped “If you don't want me to go just say so.”
Dean rolled his eyes “Oh for Christ's sake. Then come on.” he said grabbing his ballcap from a hook on the side of the house “You have to make a production about everything?”
Chace paused, not sure if he should go or not. Dean got into the old truck and it rumbled to life. AC/DC blasted out of the cab as Dean honked “You coming or not?”
Chace gave a mental fuck it and rushed into to the truck. He heard a few beer bottles rattle by his feet as he jumped in. “Watch out” Dean warned “Fallout from last night.” he said as he shifted into drive. Chace leaned down and pulled out a pair of gray boxer briefs from the cab and dangled them in front of him. Dean laughed “There they are!” he said as they pulled onto the road “I knew I had some on before I left.”
Chace out them down on the seat next to him as he shook his head. Dean began singing along as they headed down the highway.
