Just when i think the show cannot surprise me any more, it puts out an episode like this. God damn that was good, thank you for reminding me this show is about family. Not angels, not demons, not the end of the world, but family.
It was a very nice twist! Now let's see what the guys do with the key and everything that goes with it. I have to admit I am still stuck on Dean and Sam doing Braveheart....LOL! Made my whole month.
I agree with you. The ep was good, kinda reminding me why I used to love these characters(before Carver turned them into his version of the Young and the Restless). The scenes featuring JDM and S1 Dean and Sam in the opening montage were awesome, as was the ending scenes. Made me so nostalgic for the good ole days. 'sighs'

I like the concept they put out there and I'm looking forward to seeing where they take this Letters of Men
Just one thing - the continuity - In The Beginning when Dean went back and met John - the guy comes into the diner asking John about his old man (now I'm assuming that it's a step dad - not his father - since we just met Henry). Other than that it was a great episode.
