I'm not sure if anyone else has had this problem but I'll ask anyway. Did anyone else feel like they were getting the run-around from their recruiter? I don't feel like he lies to me but I feel like the information changes a lot. Like he told me that I needed to score at least a 50 on my ASVAB and that my test scores would be high enough to apply

Depending on the job, the overall ASVAB score may have been high enough, but the GT score itself may not meet the requirement. For OCS, the minimum GT score is 110. (Your ASVAB score is broken up into a general score and then 6 categories - certain jobs have higher requirements in categories.)
As far as the weight, it sounds like you weigh more than your max weight and had to be taped. The reference to your neck being too small is that the neck factor is what's making you one percentage off.
If you'd like to PM me your weight/height info, I'd be happy to look at the reg and see if you're in tolerance.
Lastly, if you feel like you're getting the run-around from your recruiter, I don't think there's anything wrong with talking to another recruiter.

The weight thing took me by surprise because no one said anyhting to me at MEPS about it. My recruiter didn't measure me before going so the woman there had to do it. I was never told by anyone that my weight was off or that my neck was to small. I'm just confused as to how there was no problme before but now there is. I know they said my neck was 13.5 and I think she said my hips were like 42. I don't remember waht my measurements were when I got them done at MEPS (it was way back u=in July.)

I'd have to have your numbers to run the body fat and see if it's right, but they should be measuring your neck, your "waist" (narrowest part of body between breastbone and hips, it's usually around your rib cage), and your hips. They add the hip/waist measurement together, subtract your neck, and use that number to pull the body fat number out.
Also, not to be negative, but just throwing it out there - the weight control program is a really annoying issue. I've been dealing with it for a lot of my career, because I'm on the short side, and while it has improved, it's still a major PITA. It might be a problem you'll be dealing with for awhile.

Edited for lack of NOT in first paragraph. It should make more sense now.

I went to the USCG instead and had a recruiter be straight forward and answer all my questions (honestly.) I signed up with them instead, and its been almost eight years since.
