More "Spiritual Fitness" Nonsense

I posted this a while back asking about the Spiritual Fitness initiative in the Army. I brought it up in response to a few soldiers being "strongly encouraged" to attend an Evangelical Christian event which took place on Fort Bragg.

... oh its definitely the type of religion. Evangelical Christians proselytize, its what they do. Depending on which branch, you're either GOING TO HELL or just making Baby Jebus cry for not joining.

I actually have more of a problem with the base commander suddenly changing his mind. Where you're in a position like that, and I admit saying this with only one side of the story, and you suddenly look like a blatant hypocrite, it doesn't help morale or your credibility.

Totally agree on the hypocritical stuff.

$50--if I had it--says he say down and had a "heart-to-heart" with someone more religious between the start and the finish...
