Very well put, when that was announced, I felt like dying right then and there. I will admit, I am her friend, a good friend, but like you said, this is a complete slap in the face. I do not like the fact that she gets spot promoted, especially to 2nd Lt. Every other officer had to go through a board of OFFICERS for us to decide if they were officer material. Her name was brought up in the meeting as a possibility. Did you notice that she was not selected for OCS? Maybe there is a reason for that. But what the hell do I know, I only went through OCS, worked my ass off in flight last year, working my ass off this year in drill.
