The current trend of Livejournal appears to be as such: for days (weeks, truth be told), each and every journal appears to be completely inactive (assuming that there are no entries under the "private" filter posted - admittedly something I've been terribly guilty of, as of late) until one day, seemingly at random, the place is bursting with ( Read more... )

Or simply common stimulus. We are all competing in the same tournaments - it is likely what sparks activity around certain dates.

Useless data is often the most entertaining sort.

And on the topic of entertainment, I look forward to seeing you at Senbatsu, Sadaharu.

Hmm. You're absolutely right. I should add that to my conclusion.

I look forward to seeing you at Senbatsu, as well, Renji. Perhaps we shall find each other on the same side of the court once more.

On the other hand, depending on the outcome of said stimuli, the reaction will be different and from certain people louder than others. For example, if Hyoutei loses in a tournament, there is a 98% chance Atobe will make an entry, mostly filtered to Hyoutei or privated, that is either reprimand of his team or of himself for the loss.

It's always best to be on the top of one's game. You're merely helping them improve themselves.

It would be a delight, if we did. If not, there is always the option of teaming up to terrorize the rest of the attendees.

Yes, of course. Similarly, if Rikkaidai wins in a tournament, there is a 98.9% chance that your vice-captain will (publicly) state that winning the Regionals is not an excuse to slack, and that top performance in practice will be expected.

True. Very, very true.

Terrorizing the rest of the attendees is what we do best. I'm game.
