I'm doing that before I start graduate school. I think it's an amazing opportunity. I'm glad there are things like it out in the world. It makes me happy.

Oooh cool. My sister wanted to do that but then she got married. I wish the application deadline was later; it'd be nice to think of that as a back-up if I don't get into any of the grad schools I want. But I won't know that until March. Though I will know my physics GRE score, and I guess I could apply anyway and just turn them down if I end up getting into somewhere I want to go. Hmm. It's a thought. When are you graduating, btw?

I still have another year and a half left to go. I could convievable graduate next fall, but I'm minoring in math, so it's taking a wee bit longer. lol. You can turn them down right up to the time they assign you a location in Japan to go, if you turn them down after that they get all pissy and wont let you sign up again for a while (can't remember how long lol). I want to do it before i start grad school...cause once i go down that road, there's not really time lol. I may even do it the full 3 years allowed... I need a nice break from 9 years of undergraduate education. lol My first classes at the community college were in 1997...next year makes a decade of college/university!
