Dear LJ, for my birthday I actually to got to break free from the psychiatric ward I've been spending time in for the past month. Freedom included discussing more mentally ill people living in the community in the morning, and then hooning around parts of the Derwent Valley in the afternoon pumping people full of antipsychotics. We've been here just over a month now. It doesn't seem that long, but the days have kind of blurred into each other a bit. For every maintenance task that's been started, another two or three have had to be done first, just so that I can get back to finishing the original one. It's almost the end of January, which is an entirely more comfortable thing to say this year than last. The weather has been much milder, and while much of the country may not agree, I'm generally happier when it rains.
