My mother was extremely sick a few years ago and I almost lost her so I know what you are going through. Right now your mother needs you more than ever, so be strong and hang in there kid.

I am actually feeling pretty strong right now, sometimes it's tough but I am trying to stay positive.

One day at a time =)
And you know since I started living this way I find myself feeling so much happier as well.

I'm so sorry! I will hold your mother in my thoughts (what someone else might call praying). I hope the surgery goes smoothly and that the cancer hasn't spread.

Good for you for staying positive - I think that that is a kind of heroism. I don't mean that in a silly way, either.
