Alot on my mind.
So much going on this week it flew by!
Mom is doing well. She's not in to much pain, just a little uncomfortable.
It's killing her to stay in bed, and restrict herself to limited household chores (gawd she tried to take out the christmas tree without me!). I am trying to keep her entertained, but it's hard as our interests always differ.
I hate horror and gore movies, she won't go near anything animated....we've watched Rome twice, and all of Deadwood.
We've been turning to gossip, mostly about family...the skeletons! Jeez my family likes to keep secrets :P
Back to work monday.
Yup it's been a year and a week since I've worked, now I make my return.
I am a bit nervous, but I do get training again (which is really nice) so ultimately I feel that they aren't going to try and boot me out the door for being on leave. I mean if that's what they were going to do why pay to put me through training?
I am also really curious to see all the changes. I hope systems work better than they did. It's been a year sure at least_some_of the bugs got worked out!
One of the nice things about actually working for the company you claim to represent, they do try to make things better.
Ichigo is gone :(
I didn't really tell anyone because it makes me sad.
On the 27 of dec (it was really cold) he escaped outside. I tried to get him in, but of course he would have none of that.
I left him for about a half hour, and haven't seen him since. He was wearing his collar and bell, but not his ID tag (it broke off).
I've called everywhere I can think of. I keep putting up posters, but all the rain takes them down.
I think someone might have taken him in.
He'd been outside every now and then for an hour or so, and always come back. And that's just the kind of neighborhood this is, loads of artsy, hippy people who take in animals. Sadly they also tend to keep them, and not put up found posters.
I haven't given up he might come back. Moms cat Mystic set the record at 7 weeks, 3 days.
If he can get outside I think he'll come home. In the meantime I miss my little orange baby :(
Gaz is going to have her kittens any day now! YAY!
she's massively huge. It's possible she might have up to 6 kittens. The vet was sure she felt 5.
Since Renji is the father cat (the white guy) I can't wait to see what these guys are gonna look like!
Although this leads me to a problem......
Renji cannot stay here with kittens. I need to find him a home.
He's very aggressive with Gaz. I keep them apart, shes made her nest in my bedroom. However he sits by the door and growls, thus making her nervous. I am really worried she might eat the kittens if he keeps this up.
Anyone looking for an older kitty, or know anyone who's looking?
Hes 9 months, with his first needles. Part siamese, all white with a little gray spot on his head. =) Very cuddly and playful.
Don't currently have use of my cell phone :( At least until I get the bill paid, which probably won't be until Feb 15.
If anyone needs me email me, or call me on my land line.
