It doesn't hurt to make an inquiry as to why this happened. People who make more noise always get answers in the end.

I know this is late responding, but was someone else in that spot? if so, then yes I would say suck it up..someone would have to deal with those issues!!
or just tell the guy that he`s annoying you.
