Chuckar Hunting....weee?

I went out Saturday with my dad, cousin, and cousins son (isn't he a cousin too?) to the Pilot mountain range on the UT NV border. We were after a bunch of stuff this day. First and foremost we were after pine nuts. This place has the biggest pine nuts I've ever seen. They've been out there every year we've been out there, except this one. ( Read more... )

Well, I'm sure you've done extensive data collection so that the cultural information is not lost, but hey, it's not your culture anyway, so what the hell. Like Ani DiFranco says, "everyone's a fucking Napoleon." Enjoy your spoils as they collect the wrong kind of dust.

Hey thanks.

If the cultural information is so desired, why hasn't anyone gathered it yet? The archaeologists already raped the southern end of the mountains and no display exists showing what was found, everything is sitting in storage with a number assigned.

What is the "correct" kind of dust, that of a museum or university storage where no one can appreciate it?

I think I'll go look at my arrowheaed collection right now.
