Glad to hear that your dental adventures went well, U! Dental health IS a very important part of your overall health, and you're right, most insurances in the U.S. don't address that aspect of our health well at all!! Seems like most U.S. insurance companies want to cover AS LITTLE as they can!! The thing about your teeth, however, is that when they aren't doing well, YOU are not doing well!! It's more than just the cosmetic part, too! Sure, well taken-care-of teeth look nice (and that's always a GOOD THING!) but if they are not given proper attention, the pain they can cause can be immense and it's not like you can just forget your teeth!! If they are causing you problems, they will DEMAND prompt attention!! I'm not a U.S.-basher, because, in spite of Dubya & the right wing that currently owns this country (at least legislatively speaking), I have faith that the U.S. will find it's way back into the light, but the health care system here is only a pale, sad child in comparison to the wonderfully-available care that is
