So I finally got some of the test footage of the Casio EX-F1 up, of course, I used the dogs for my test subjects. I am very happy with the footage and the dogs are cute too:

Before youtube got ahold of it, it was pretty good. It's no HD, but that's still a while off.

No, seriously, that's one of the best quality YouTube videos I've seen.

Oh well in that case, thanks a lot. As a video snob, I see every little nuance in the compressions and I wish it were better, but all in all, I am happy with that camera a a lot.

I don't know what you are talking about. I could make some sort of football comment, but it would only make me look nerdier.

I love Nolan. She's the best dog ever. That slo-mo is sweet!

I know she is. She's so wonderful, and I am glad to see her this happy when she's not whining about how awful everything is all the time.

AWW! I love Nolan (I haven't met Indy). Our cats are 11 and they can't catch frisbees.

but your kitties are adorable, and the don't continually ask to go outside to catch frisbees, therefore a plus in many situations.

First, awesome camera. That is some amazing work, and my mind boggles at the thing you could capture with it. The whole piercing the water balloon comes to mind...

Second. Such wonderful puppies! She's doing a great job with her frisbee work! It's just soi nice to see that she can play as well as she is!

We had someone come with a slow motion camera a couple of years ago at work (closer to a $100,000 camera), and we did a huge water balloon fight in our video studio. We had a subject stand in frame and they threw 20-30 balloons at him while we shot it. It was fantastic.

Thanks, my dogs are the best. They are happy, and that makes me happy.
