So apart from the wonderful news announced this last weekend at the San Diego ComiCon, that the love of my life, Katie Cook will be one of the 4 artists drawing the new Star wars Clone Wars web comic. This will be accompanying the new Clone wars TV show on the cartoon Network this fall. After each episode, you will be able to go to Starwars.com and ( Read more... )

Congrats on winning an Award, being Cool, AND having a Cool Wife. If I didn't like you, you'd be my EVIL NEMESIS! ;)

Why thank you. I'm very happy about it

As far as Katie goes, I hear that a lot. I work very hard at being likable, otherwise all of Katie's adoring fans would kill me and try to take her for their own.

That's awesome news! It's about time you got some credit. Glad you had a good time on vacation. I had to work this year but next year is on! I may even try to make it to New York for the show in February. Are y'all going to try to make it to Wizard World Texas this year?

thanks bunches,

We haven't decided about WW: Texas just yet. Honestly, we may not have the vacation days to do it, but are never against the idea. If we can, we will.

We missed you this year. I was hoping to hang out a bit. Of course, I couldn't leave Katie's table because she was totally slammed every day of the show. Her Saturday commission list, was closed at 10:30 am. I think people actually ran there to make sure to get a spot. It was a great weekend for her what with all the news and all.

re: UofMSPH - Hell, I'm convinced. I think it was the spinning zoom shots in the slideshow. I've never seen that. Revolutionary! (literally!) I hope you get something to put on the wall in your office. :) Or shelf! The Telly statue is cool.

Still recovering from ... my first earthquake
Call me weird, but that's the bit I've been hoping to hear. xD (well, if you felt it, not that you're recovering. Not that I'm sad you're recovering from it. Recovery is good, especially if you're able to, and therefore not fear visiting CA again during earthquake season)

Um... Yeah.

Congrats on the Telly awards!

Yeah, we were in Mickey's house and then thought it was weird that they added the shaking part to it. It took us a few minuted to realize it was a real earthquake, when we saw that all the rides had been stopped and everyone was roaming around. It was a 5.0 where we were, so it was significant, but not terrible. Like the hurricanes I survived, it was a blast.

For me it's:
"several small tornadoes throughout my childhood, but nothing too terrible"
"3 hurricanes in my 9+ years in NC, and the lowest was a strong category 3, the other two were solid 4's"
"5.0 earthquake while in disneyland"

so that leaves what? Tsunami, flooding, wildfire, mudslide, locust... what am I missing?

Very nice, and it is one of the best schools of Public Health too, but then, all our programs are great - having said this, I hope to get about 25% lopped off my alumni association dues. LOL

If you ever need a comedic extra, I will gladly appear in the admissions video for the neuroscience program as "The Patient Who Thinks He Is Carlos XII Of Spain"

I was told shortly after the release of the video that the applications were something like 40% higher this year, so that is saying something.

I appreciate your willingness to work as an actor with us. Don't call us, we will call you ;)

I am better at helping others to create things rather than making stuff myself, so I can help her rule the world.

thanks.
