Hush little baby, don't say a word...

...Mama's going to buy you a mockingbird. :)

He was a bit cranky and whiny a couple of hours ago, but Aunt Miky Miky managed to calm him down and make him go to sleep.

You guys have no idea how long it took everybody to convince me that the coat was a must-buy. Good thing I went back and took a second look at it. :)

It's official, I'm going to be a Godmother.

Of course, being a girl, I immediately thought of what to wear, and trudged on over to the nearest Motivi store, where my friend Manu gave me a huge hand with both picking out the outfit of awesome, and making it affordable for me.

I love my salesgirl friends who work in clothing stores :).

This is also possibly going to be what will finally lead my to financial bankruptcy. For you can shift the focus of your bulimia, but never the bulimia itself. And if right now I'm binging on clothes and social life, I'm also very much inclined to get rid of everything that belonged to the way I used to be.

Also? Nothing quite fits me anymore, as exemplified by both Nico and Fra telling me to "get that monstruosity off of you before I discontinue our friendship", on two different days and about two different pair of pants.

It was kind of priceless.

Except for the buying new stuff part. Which isn't.

I'm holding myself back as much as possible because I'm trying my best to follow a long-term money-saving plan that will allow me to sign up for CELTA Classes @ British Council. SIGH.

The studying is proceeding. My concentration and motivation levels are way higher than they've been at any given moment along the past ten years' timeline, which has me defaulting to "I have no time for this bullshit, there's learning to be had" five or six times a day. I've recently realized I've succeeded in memorizing and assimilating a huge amount of info without really making a conscious effort to.

Talk to you later, flist. The nephew, he wants cuddles.

*hugs*
