Description: Short in stature, Karol is rather small in build with short brown hair and expressionate brown eyes. He tends to go for more practical-type clothing that he can get dirty or torn if necessary. He has a wide range of facial expressions which make guessing what he's thinking a sinch. Personality: Karol is a typical 12-year-old kid with an optimistic view of a bright future full of adventure and greatness, but he also has a downer emo side of himself that is rather pessimistic, forcing him to lose sight of his goals when things get tough. History: Karol was born and raised in a cold, wet and rainy part of the northern latitudes where he traveled and learned skills from a very young age. He was a restless youth trying to prove himself in a rather demanding habitat where people had to work hard to make a living and in a society where to fail was entirely your own fault. It was a very capitalistic world where people would join guilds to make a living from their skills by being hired to carry out tasks based on your specialties. Karol started off young joining guilds, but he struggled due to his cowardly personality. He lacked a backbone to face his fears and it wasn't long before he was kicked out of each and every guild he tried to join. He eventually was looked down upon as a failure because he wasn't brave at all and all the guilds saw him as a complete joke. Determined to not give up, Karol continued to try and impress someone... anyone... in order to earn the respect of at least one guild so he would be able to join

The company who ran Utopia was working in stealth mode and Karol found that the only way for a kid like him to get out to the island was to pass himself off as a kid in the family of a staff member who was about to move out there to work. Being in the territory of another country hostile to guilds, Karol had to be very careful to not give himself away or they may not trust him. Through various connections between the informant and one of the families he worked with, Karol managed to slip into a family as an adopted son to an electrician hired to work on Utopia. However, what Karol didn't know was that this electrician and his wife were actually working as spies for another group involving the informant ((plot set-up; no need to explain at this time because it won't matter until WAY later on anyways

Roundabout 14 or 15, probably; Chrona has trouble keeping track of how old he is, due to not having actually celebrated a birthday in, well, ever.

Disease/Abilities/Condition:Chrona’s black blood would probably counts as this, seeing as it’s technically a sentient being, named Ragnarok, living inside of him. Chrona can manipulate (either that, or be manipulated by) the blood, which can materialize into a sword or any number of other weapons for Chrona to fight with. Also, with all of the abuse he has had to deal with throughout the years with his mother, his current state of insanity could also be considered a disease, because at this point, it’s become chronic, even if nothing is physically wrong with his mind

As a child, Chrona was raised to be a killer. Unfortunately, he never became the kind that his mother, Medusa, wanted him to be. Instead of a ruthless and insane murderer, Chrona became a timid and insane murderer, who needed prompting even to defend himself. Such a result was almost to be expected, though, considering there was always someone there to reprimand how he had dealt with the situation, considering Ragnarok, his sentient black blood, could materialize from his back to start hitting him and yelling at him for doing it wrong. Whatever it happened to be this time. Years passed, and nothing changed, except maybe Chrona’s mental state going further and further into decline. Personality:People, when first coming face to face with Hagane Kotetsu will instantly label him easy going yet he is as unbending and strong as his name hints. He can come across as bash, loud-mouthed and temperamental but he has a good heart hidden under his tough exterior. Loving and caring only towards those he considers friends or family, he would go the extra mile for them, even at risk to his own life. Kotetsu is hard to handle, strong-willed and leap into action without thought of his own safety, or taking the time to find a better alternative to a situation

Fuck, the doctors won't stop with the blood tests. Feel like a fucking pincushion.

It's been three weeks since Izumo and me ended up on this island. I miss our apartment in Konoha, it was the first place we felt was a home. Our village was home too but no one understood us. Things were different in Konoha, we blended into the crowds and no one looked twice at us. Shit, I worry about what the doctors here might do to Izu...can't protect 'im all that well here. Not like I could at home.

History: The youngest son in a large family, Genma's childhood dream was to be a chef like his parents but fate has an odd way of steering people onto other paths. At the age of twelve, he watched his mother begin to waste away from a disease that none of the doctors she went to were able to diagnose. Five long months later, Shiranui Andrienne, affectionally known as Andy, was dead at the age of fifty-five leaving behind a devastated husband and six children. It became the most defining moment of Genma's life. Becoming interested in medicine after his mother's death, he danced along the edge of obsession, throwing himself into studying everything about medicine and the creation of vaccinations, antitoxins and antidotes that he could get his hands on. His father interfered many times, finally forcing his son to visit a psychiatrist, worried terribly that he was going to lose his youngest child to the same disease that killed his wife. It wasn’t until after her autopsy that it was discovered she died of Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease

Journal Sample:

Tomorrow is the first day at my new job. I’m still unpacking my belongings, the cats and dogs are settling in well, better than I thought they would. Tumbleweed things it’s great to have a lot of opened boxes to jump and hide in, waiting for the right moment to leap out at one of the dogs or me. Because I brought my dogs with me, the management gave me a house with a decent sized fenced in yard. They’ll still need walks but having a yard helps.

I hope to go see my new lab tonight but with all that needs to be done in the house, I don’t think I’ll have time until the morning and rumor has it that first thing in the morning is a meeting of the staff that’s here and the bosses.

RP Sample:Scooping up a bag of dried fruits, Genma tossed it into the shopping cart before resuming his course through the grocery store, pausing to eye bags of food, fresh and dried then shook his head. He preferred an open air market where farmers hawked their goods, trying to encourage people to purchase their products.
