I have bought my very first laptop.

It may be almost incredible to believe, but it's true: I was a laptop virgin, until Friday.

So far, it's not been too rough - quite painless, in fact!

I must, however, resist looking at the DELL website for 3-4 months, because I'm sure my new baby is obsolete/200 off/upgraded already.

Could I suggest that laptop bachelor might be a better term?

After all, you've had fun with one, you've touched one all over, you've even poked about in one - you've just never had one that was all your very own before :)
