I just bought my ticket to Peru for this summer!!! I'll be spending 8 weeks there this time, 8 weeks. My plane leaves at 4PM July second and I get back to states early on August 27. I drive back to New Orleans on the 29th, move into my new apartment, and classes start on the 31st. Pray to your respective gods for me. This is going to be ( Read more... )

Did you realize that you posted this entry on August 15th instead of April 15th?
And some kind of souvenir would be cool, but I have no idea what...
That schedule in August is gonna be rough, but you'll get it done! If you need help moving I am always willing to lend a hand. Too many times I've been without enough help during a move and I never want anyone else to have the same problem.

Oops! Problem solved, and thanks for the help! I think I'm going to have a giant house warming/move in party too afterwards for all those who help.

I'm an atheist (not to mention something of a nihilist); I don't have anything to pray to...(hah)but good luck with the future hecticity all the same. I'm trying to dredge through my own at the moment. They're trying to kill us, I tell you...at least you get to go to Peru and do cool things first...

no remains... how about a really good picture of you standing atop a pyramid dressed in sun god(dess) robes witha thousand naked women (or men, your choice) screaming and throwing little pickles at you?

But I don't like pickles. What about chilis? Or cucumbers? Or rice maybe?

Well, Chilis would probably be more regionally appropriate. Cucumbers would just hurt, and rice would mean you just got married (now that would just break my heart.) So yeah, chilis would be ok, I guess...
