i don't know. i think there would be something awfully satisfying about seeing the infrastructure around me crumble. sick and twisted i know, but awfully poetic. i wouldn't *wish* for it though...people would assuridely die in horrible ways.
Not at first, because I thought it was about to end. But then it got stronger and kept going. At that point I looked out the window and saw how much the building was moving. Then I tried not to think about how long it would take for the building to collapse from the 6th floor.
The secretary told me a story of how she was in the elevator when a quake happened, and the elevator doors opened but she couldn't see the hallway because the elevator was swinging back and forth so she timed her jump and leapt into the hallway. Crazy stuff.
