Quake!

Oh yeah. Was just reading my friends list and in the Alaska community somebody posted about the earthquake we got last night. I had completely forgotten about that. Preliminary report is that it was a 5.3 magnitude quakeI vaguely remember waking up at 3 am because the ground was rolling. It went on for, I don't know, somewhere between 5 and 20 ( Read more... )

Scary!
We had an earthquake in Atlanta about a year ago, and it was surreal like that. I didn't know what was happening!!

Well, honestly they don't bother me that much because we seem to have about one per month. Granted, they usually are around 3.0 earthquakes. This may have been the biggest one since I arrived but I was so half asleep I barely remember what it was like.

I don't know, it's kind of fun. Really. However, it does remind you that sometimes there are situations where you have absolutely no control over things.
