I'm incredibly busy all the time and nearly always surrounded by people, yet I'm still horrifically lonely and disengaged in my life.  I work at life and it happens, I don't hate it as such, but I certainly don't enjoy it, in fact, it's almost as though I'm not there.  I'm not really here living it, I'm arranging a life for somebody else and just

I'm sorry to hear that you feel like this. I know these kinds of feelings only too well (hence the title of my own blog!).

For what it's worth, I enjoyed walking with you last week, even if it was unplanned, and I didn't feel that you were "cold and distant". Maybe we could go for another walk sometime, possibly with Hannah too (I've become less nocturnal recently, so I can schedule things in a way that I couldn't when you've asked in the past).

Thanks, it was really good to see you. It's great that you've become less nocturnal, it's not such an easy thing to do. It would be nice to go another walk, what are you/you and Hannah up to on Wednesday? I get home from work around 4:20, so we could go a walk then if you feel up to it.
