Next Year

I have finally decided what I am doing next year.  I was deciding between the music degrees at Goldsmiths and City & Guildhall and also the flexible programme at Trinity, but have now accepted a place on the course joint between City University and Guildhall College of Music and Drama.  The academic study is at City and the instrumental lessons are ( Read more... )

that sounds wonderful; I'm alwasy happy when people go to study just because they like it, but the idea about teaching afterwards sounds great xx

there are lots of people who go back to uni at an older age to do anything...

and the fact that you enjoy music shows that well....this is perfect for you!
anyone who asks you why you would bother is silly, in my opinion...

You sound so positive! Yay. Do what you enjoy doing, if you can find the cash for it. Life's too short to labour on with speech therapy or whatever if you're miserable about it.

I'd like to echo all the above comments, and wish you all the best. It's a gutsy move but if it's going to redirect your life somewhere you'll be happy then it's a great one!
