just a moment ago, i went into the bathroom to take a leak, and i heard a splooshing noise outside like somebody thrashing around in water. i figured someone(s) was goofing around in the kiddie pool, so i looked outside and saw a very wet cat making its way out of the pool and running away all freaked out like it had just had the most traumatic

Poor bird. You should see if it's still out there and nurse it back to health.

Poor cat. Wonder if he will ever chase another bird or if he has been traumatized for life....

At least he probably won't come back for that particular bird.
