Sometimes I watch Japanese TV to try to learn the language better, or see how much I can understand (usually a word here and there). Of course sometimes it's just 'cause it's cool. Wow, awesome video.
Some years ago I was walking on campus in the autumn, and saw a group of Japanese people, quietly and slowly strolling; there was a sudden cascade of yellow leaves falling, and they all said aaaah together. It was beautiful. Not much to do with your point --I was just reminded. ~Laura

that's really interesting. now youre making me want to set out on an adventure to do an ethnographic study of crowd noises.

this would involve a lot of travel.

or a lot of youtube.

...or both?
