Quantum of Solace

Yesterday after doing a bit of shopping in the nice non-wet day we had, I decided to go and see Quantum of Solace, bar the kids at the back of the room, whom clearly where skipping school, it was a good movie

Nope, don't agree with you.

I thought that the film suffered from too much action, not enough exposition. The first half feels like one long chase. I thought Casin Royale was half an hour too long, and that they realised this and over-compensated and made this one about 15 minutes to half an hour too short. As a result, the story didn't have the opportunity to develope fully.

I agree with the bit that the first 'act' was a little to 'chasey' and perhaps needed more story, and thinking about it did feel to short... hmm perhaps my whole "where did the baddy tell bond his plans" thing/feeling is becuse there just wasnt the story there outside the effects and cool action sequences..

Like i say i dont think i will rush out to get the DVD, but i dont feel cheated out of my time which some bad movies have done before.

The 'rouge' agent??? Its like WOW

TBH I prefer the modern style to these films. I know a lot of people don't like them because they didn't keep to the Bond style that has been overused but it just became boring, old and stodgy. To the point where old Bond films make me bored.

I prefered the realism in this film and the fact they explored the character and showed him to be human with human emotions something the Lazenby tried to do and failed.

I am also a particular fan of the linking of films. I am looking forward to the next installment carrying on from where this film left off.

So i cannot spell.. =)

But i agree with you i like them alot, but i also like the old Bonds..
They just are diffrent things i think.

But it will be good to see the next one.
