stumped by this kanji

Jul 29, 2011 20:06

Can anyone please help me out with the first two kanji of Choutaisku+81?  I thnk I have located the second one in my jisho, but the first is questionable, and if they form a compound word together, I cannot locate this.
I think the song is very funny and am trying to translate it as an exercise.
Arigatoo gozaimasu!  :)

超大作+81

Hope that works, I totally cheated and just searched for UVER lyrics in Japanese and found the title in Kanji.

So it's "Super Huge Composition/Creation +81" ? Haha, oh UVERworld.

Thank you!! Actually I did get about the same translation as you for the title: "Surpassing/transcending the greatness of the composition" LOL. I'm sorry - I was not very clear. The two kanji I am stuck on are actually the first two of the first line of the lyric.

Oops, I may just fail at, y'know, reading haha.

You mean 我々? (wareware) As in another word for "We/us?" I don't know to look at the actual lyrics or the speaking part, but I think that's the first two kanji of the actual singing...

BUT I may just fail at the whole reading thing again :3

YES!!! Thank you!!
Boy, do I feel foolish. After all that jisho-hunting it turns out to be something so simple.
Sometimes the typeface that their lyrics are printed in does not help the novice....lol
You rock :)

Thank you!! That is close to what I was able to find in my jisho, but am never sure. Also thank you for clarifying "chou" because sometimes I see it listed as "kyoo" and I wasn't sure that was correct.
UVERworld make me laugh with their titles sometimes..... :D
