Thank you all very much for all your suggestions and offers of help earlier. They were very much appreciated. However after several hours work 6 Kg salt, wet and dry vacuum cleaning. Disconnecting all the IT equipment, dismantling the desk and loads of wiping down it seems my fears were worse that it actually was. My PC although bathed in wine
