On My Way Everywhere ~~ 01 ~ Commuter Line, June 08, 2014 (continuation)

A commuter line arrived from somewhere (I honestly forgot!!) on the way to Jatinegara and if I usually only saw on TV or movies, people on rush hour got off the train and all of them change platform together, that day I witnessed it for myself! that I was so amazed...  I got in Indonesian "ternganga"  or jaw-dropped ... ahahahaha... udik deh pokoknya... I even said "WOW!" it looks like cartoon..... All those people change platform to commuter line for Tangerang (train I got off a while ago).

I heard a couple talking.... the man seemed to be not a patient type or just not used to taking commuter line (like me)... he asked his wife (i assumed she was his wife) about the time and where the train was at that time (it was announced a while ago that it was still 3 or 4 stations from Duri), then he talk about random things and ask again about the time and where the train could be... and complain on why it took too long... and the talk about the time again... (jadi pengen ngelirik sinis ke bapaknya... ga bisa diam banget sih, udah mah panas, dia ga bisa berhenti bicara... huh!) and Thank God he went away and sat on the steps not far from where i stood... even then he still talked to his wife... and his wife already got annoyed by her husband... (sabar ya buuu...)...

I also noticed a girl, i assume she was a college student... she looked so restless and not right with herself. I first saw her when she crossed the platform to wait for the train. I noticed her because she wore too many layers of clothing and she wasn't even wearing hijab. She carried a simple woman's backpack and one other small bag. Not long I saw her again, she sat on the step a bit far from me with hair tied up in a bun, her outer layer had been taken off, she was on just simple T-Shirt now, and she was eating cup noodles but then she stood up and looking restless eventhough nobody bothered her. The first thing came to me when I saw her at that time was... I wouldn't be able to eat that in this weather... then I looked away...

I wasn't sure I could get a seat this time since people waiting with me were so many, and I was right.... I didn't get any seat, so I stood... This time though, the train which suppose to be air conditioned only has warm wind blowing from the ventilation ... Oh My God! nobody could do anything though, we could only accept it...

A few stations later, on another interchange, Tanah Abang, I could get a seat, a small opening made by a kind lady and her daughter (I carried my laptop backpack, my bag and another small bag with me, she probably felt sorry for me.... thank you mam for your kindness). Anyway, one more lesson in taking commuter line. DO NOT TAKE AFTERNOON TRAIN ON SATURDAY AND SUNDAY AFTER FOUR FROM DURI TO BOGOR UNTIL AFTER JULY THIS YEAR... You'll be sorry since so many people went to Tanah Abang to shop and usually would be back at those hours...  Young mothers with children who got so caught up in shopping, not so young mothers also with children, elders, all carrying plastic bags containing whatever they bought all day in Tanah Abang. The train got soooooo full and adding with only warm air coming out of the train air conditioner, somebody was bound to get sick... and the unlucky one was the girl I mentioned before, the one eating cup noodles.

She suddenly crouched and she got soo pale and sweated so much it almost looked like she just got splashed by a bucket of water... a nice lady gave her seat to the girl and it suddenly looked like every one wanted to help her. They asked her if she had eaten anything, if she was sick (well, obviously she was!!), I helped her too by give her tissues since she didn't seem to have one or maybe she had some but couldn't find it inside her bag. Another nice lady gave her a cake, and she got pampered by everyone around her until she got off the train a few stations before me.

After that nothing eventful happened worth writing and I arrived on my station and took another "angkot" to my other home ^^....

Overall it was quite an adventure riding on commuter line... I would do it again but I will not ride on those hours of the day again... Once was enough and I hope the air conditioner will be fixed soon...

See you on my next "adventure" ... ^^
