So this post is only like. Several months late. But who cares it only exists for personal archiving.
Contains a fair amount of images, be warned.
My first still life. I'm pretty pleased with it--except for the shape of the bottle. The right side "shape" of the bottle makes me want to cry. Also, apparently my camera hates photographing canvas.
I love being able to pick out any object in the room for my own still life. Lucky me, there was a robot, a bottle, a beach ball, and a horn. I call it, Le reaubot du partie, although it is often referred to by its more common name, Portrait of Prof.
A collage reproduction of a painting of Die Brucke that looks like shit unless you're 10 feet away from it. Google "Die Brucke" and you'll find this image relatively quickly. Made with bits of a magazine I bought in a corner store after I ran around half of Brooklyn in search of one. |D
A reproduction of a Signac painting that I did...in my roommate's markers. Fuck yeah. Looks really lazy and I could name at least 8 things wrong with it, but. XD
This is the original, pfffffffft.

this next one because it's of a naked woman and who knows what people looking over your shoulder will think. Also because she's INCREDIBLY UGLY. I swear to god that's not just because of my (pretty crude) painting style there, she REALLY DID look like that! No one who wasn't in my class believes me when I say this.
Self-portrait I had to do in a grid. This one makes sense only if you look at it from 30 feet away. Seriously.
My final project in Painting/Drawing, based on The End by The Doors. Came out exactly as I wanted, except way too bright. Alas, it's a failure. But I think I get brownie points for doing this one with almost no reference.
Also,
have I mentioned lately how much I love Animaniacs?
