A cow's udder has the exact same function as the human boob: when you have a baby, the baby sucks milk out of it until it's old enough to eat real food. (There's no biting involved necessary, dude, any more than you have to bite the nipple on a baby bottle to get milk out of that.) Early man probably looked at baby cows sucking on udders and baby humans sucking on boobs, realized the similarity, squeezed on an udder and went, "Yup, that's damn tasty."
